Biography:
Jack Skellington is a fictional character from Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas". He first appeared in the 1993 movie of the same name.
He is the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, a realm populated by monsters and ghouls dedicated to the celebration of Halloween.
Becoming bored with the same annual routine of fright and scares, Jack accidentally discovers Christmas Town and becomes fascinated by the holiday.
He then attempts to take over Christmas, with somewhat disastrous results, as he tries to impose his Halloween-themed ideas on the traditionally cheerful holiday. In the movie, his singing voice is performed by Danny Elfman and his speaking voice is done by Chris Sarandon.
